In a world where vampires are an international secret, tensions start to rise when the government shortens the vampires' blood rations and thus limits their powers. To make sure they can control their thirst for blood, each vampire family has been assigned a human they must keep alive within their household for a year, or else. Carnita, Alexa and Salem, three sisters that compose the 13th family, have been assigned a 22-year-old who happens to be a tad too curious.
Eventually, it becomes obvious they aren't fit to take care of a human, nor is their home safe for one.
Considering their lives depend on it, will they manage to keep him alive?
