What’s the book about?
not a romance but a silly comedy
In a world where vampires are an international secret, tensions start to rise when the government shortens the vampires' blood rations and thus limits their powers. To make sure they can control their thirst for blood, each vampire family has been assigned a human they must keep alive within their household for a year, or else. Carnita, Alexa, and Salem, three sisters that compose the 13th family, have been assigned a 22-year-old who happens to be a tad too curious.
Eventually, it becomes obvious they aren't fit to take care of a human, nor is their home safe for one.
Considering their lives depend on it, will they manage to keep him alive?

Carnita was named after the italian word for meat "carne" which is also a nickname that Alexa uses for her
Alexa's name was picked solely so that the "Alexa play despacito" meme could be used
Salem was once arrested for breaking into the zoo, she wanted to pet the lions
Uncle Joe had beef with Napoleon after the French Emperor bombed one of his past residence. Uncle Joe throws a party every year on Napoleon's death anniversary
Carnita only started getting involved in battles because her first crush was in love with a knight
The last name Scorstazziv is an anagram of Victor Zsasz because I was really into Gotham (the TV show) at the time and couldn’t figure out a last name
