How we started...

First off, the "we" is a lie. We are an indie publishing house which is actually held by only one person. Except that for some reason, using we/our/us pronouns sounds more professional, and at the same time, optimistic on the idea we might become bigger one day.

At the beginning, we weren't even meant to be a publishing house. I have always wanted to write stories for as long as I can remember. Except the one thing I liked more than writing, was having freedom. The idea that someone else would tell me what to do with my stories, how to format them, which cover to use, etc. That was a huge obstacle to my creativity. This is what pushed me towards indie publishing.

Then followed a lot, lot, LOT of research. Thankfully, this wasn't as tedious as it sounds. Because when there's passion, the energy just keeps flowing. As research went, I learned a publishing imprint would be better to protect my work and down the spiral I went. I made a logo, and started building more and more onto that idea. 

Before I realised it, I had become closer to an indie publishing house than to an indie author. Obviously I haven’t given up on being an author, this is still my main goal, but somehow all of this got added in the mix and now here we are :)
